Frank Friend has been creating and performing music for over a decade. He's a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer with an assortment of influences including Beethoven, The Beatles, J Dilla, and Thelonious Monk. Much like his influences, he isn't pinned down to a single genre. Instead, Friend has made his way through many musical phases. Whatever the style, he devotes himself wholeheartedly--elevating and reinventing music as only he can.

Friend has performed at many venues including Hard Rock Live, The Social (Orlando), The State Theatre (St. Pete), Tampa Theatre, and Vans Warped Tour. His music has received awards from publications such as Creative Loafing, Orlando Weekly and Weekly Planet as well as favorable reviews from Stereokiller, Rockfreaks, and Reax. Past efforts include playing in bands The Silent Treatment and Daylight District, also songwriting and production work with Jimmy Ventura, Travis Hampton. Hakim Tafari (Nonsense Records), Gerald Douglas, Paul Solorzano and Matt Burke (of Have Gun Will Travel) to name a few. He also creates music for short films, promo clips, and web shows.

Self produced at his home in Orlando, and mastered at Elysian Masters in Los Angeles by Dave Cooley, the DIY releases 'Fleeting Feelings', 'Like Sharks On Blood', '1:31' have received positive reviews and are available now. Rockfreaks wrote "…his take on experimental indie rock is far more intriguing and better than most I've come across." While Stereokiller commented "Many of the cuts sound like polished deep tracks from old rock albums…different sounds and recording techniques keep the song interesting throughout." Frank Friend wants you to listen to his music and you should--according to Tim Heller (long-time music collaborator/friend) who describes him as "The rarest kind of talent and focus." In 2015, Friend continues to evolve and entertain a wide reaching audience of captivated listeners.
